Picnic with Pinafore Players

Saturday, April 5, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Vortex Theater’s yard and deck (2307 Manor Road). This fun-filled, family-oriented afternoon will feature activities for kids and a chance to meet and greet and hear from the cast and crew of our summer grand production of H.M.S. Pinafore. Get a behind-the-scenes peek at what it takes to mount such a show. This is a free event, but please bring some treats to share.

H.M.S. Pinafore

Sail the ocean blue aboard a vessel on a peacetime mission of bringing delightful music, engaging lyrics, sparkling staging, beautiful costumes, and the incredible range of voices for which GSA is famous. Join Little Buttercup, the Captain of the Pinafore, and Sir Joseph Porter (who “polished up the handle on the big front door“) with his sisters and his cousins and his aunts!
We will be using a new venue: McCallum High School, 5600 Sunshine Dr, Austin, TX 78756.
