The Grand Duke in Concert
March 2025
The Austin premier of Gilbert & Sullivan’s 14th and last collaboration, in concert format. The plot hinges on the misinterpretation of an old law regarding statutory duels (decided by drawing cards). The baffled leading man of a troupe of actors, Ludwig, spearheads the rebellion against the hypochondriac, miserly Grand Duke and becomes engaged to four different women before the plot is resolved. The frugality and phoniness of the wealthy classes and the nobility are lampooned.

H.M.S. Pinafore
June 13 – 22, 2025
Sail the ocean blue aboard a vessel on a peacetime mission of bringing delightful music, engaging lyrics, sparkling staging, beautiful costumes, and the incredible range of voices for which GSA is famous. Join Little Buttercup, the Captain of the Pinafore, and Sir Joseph Porter (who “polished up the handle on the big front door“) with his sisters and his cousins and his aunts!
