Gilbert & Sullivan Austin

Coming In January

Your chance to sing classic Gilbert & Sullivan choruses

Sing-Along

SUNDAY, JANUARY 6 at 2pm

Genesis Presbyterian Fellowship Hall
1507 Wilshire Blvd. | Map

Calling all G&S enthusiasts – this is your chance to sing along with other devotees as we celebrate the new year with classic choruses. The best way to start out the New Year is singing Gilbert & Sullivan!

Yes, it’s our version of “open G&S no-mic” and business meeting. We want you to participate in the joy of singing some of the best songs ever written. Selections will include songs from “The Mikado,” “The Pirates of Penzance,” “H.M.S. Pinafore,” "Princess Ida," and more.

If you’ve got a favorite G&S song, we want to hear you sing it! Please email your requested song title to Janette Jones.

Singers currently scheduled to perform include Sam Johnson, Susan Johnston Taylor, Bethany Ammon, June Julian, Steven Long, Janette Jones, Wayne Davis, Iona Olive, Jacob Williams, David Treadwell, Amy Selby, and Gary Hallock.

And to add to the musical fun, our multi-talented and charismatic Wand’ring Minstrels director, Robert Schneider, will be there to lead the audience in a sing-along. The amazing Jeanne Sasaki will be our accompanist.

We will begin with a very brief election of the Board of Directors for 2019.

We look forward to seeing you all and celebrating another joyous year of G&S!

This performance is free.
