This leap year, Frederic's Birthday Party and fund-raising gala was a unique opportunity to hear many of your favorite Gilbert & Sullivan characters, as they gathered from far and wide to celebrate the paradoxical birthday of one of Gilbert & Sullivan's most beloved characters - that reformed pirate, Frederic, from The Pirates of Penzance. The evening featured a delightful mix of entertainment, including a magic show by GSSA Artistic Director Ralph MacPhail, Jr., and live musical performances. Musical selections were sung by GSSA performers past and present, including Holton Johnson as the dashing Frederic, Kristin Burritt, David Fontenot, June Julian, Eva Laskaris, Janette Jones, Russell Gregory, Rose Taylor, and GSSA Music Director Jeffrey Jones-Ragona. Karl Logue was the accompanist. Thanks to everyone that donated to the silent auction!
